Dyscalculia

What is dyscalculia?

Dyscalculia is a specific learning difficulty that affects how numbers are processed. It can affect individuals of all ages and abilities. Unlike general maths difficulties, dyscalculia involves a severe lack of number sense and can impact daily life e.g. giving change, telling the time, following directions and understanding timetables.

Dyscalculia can sometimes co-occur with other conditions such as dyslexia or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
